Make sure you remove ALL the core plugs and clean the gunk out. OK, maybe leave the one at rear of the block. Core plugs are 35 and 48 mm diameter, as others have said, do NOT use 1-7/8" core plugs, they will not expand enough. Bob, CANADA

I have new taper bored MG TA/TC rear hubs, also matching tapered half shafts. These go nicely with new TC alfin brake sdrums I stock.

Another alternative is to install a 4.625 ( 8/37 ) gear set in the rear end, direct bolt in . No need for a 5 speed and keeps the TA/TC more original. I have several new sets for sale at $750.00 US$ + mail cost.
