Re: TD engine
Being the owner of 5 TDs and 8 XPAG/ type TD,TD2 & TD3 engines let me correct some information. All TD blocks have three holes at the starter location. The very earliest TD engine’s (first several hundred) had their tags in the same location as the TCs. Likely to use up TC stock. Early TDs had a smo...

Re: Prewar/MMM (?) radiator cap
So who actually produces these repop caps? None of the venders have been helpful in supplying the lever or willing to divulge their source for the caps. I would like to make this whole again so if anyone actually knows the manufacturer of the repops and can pass me some contact info I would greatly ...

The metal application was then smoothed and all panels were powder coated inside and out. The powdercoat acts as a primer sealer and can be sanded and fillers...

Re: SSG (Silver Streak Gray)
Steven. Thank you for your response. I concur and have resolved my delemna. My mixologist was able to formulate for me a match in tint. As you say the metallic component is a wee bit courser than originally provided. It was toned down to a acceptable level by using a gold pearl. The result is as nea...

SSG (Silver Streak Gray)
Help I'm in as undesirable position. I am almost ready for paint on dad's TD/c-8151 as I'm completing the reskinning of the tub. I took all the various paint codes and the formula from Chris Couper's website to my local supply house. All codes are obsolete as is the formula. Does any one have a samp...
