Re: Townsend Car Show
Ray Speaking as one UK member of the list, no need to apologise - I like hearing about events elsewhere - even if I cannot go. Maybe next year .... Hope it is a success.

Re: MG TC Wiring layout for indicators
Chris Further to Roger's comments. I think you are in USA and so I assume that your car cannot be an EXU model which has the indicators/relays etc. So here are some ideas:- Front 1130 sidelights :- Twin filament lamp holder like Roger describes is the easiest way to go. You use a 21 Watt / 5 Watt la...

Re: 2 Questions
Hi Bill Your car was almost certainly black when it left the factory. Although there is no 100% firm source of knowledge now, most people believe that red and green body paint colours were introduced to the production line about September of 1946. Your car, at 4/4/46 was well before that date. You c...

Re: Pre-War Horn Acorn bolts
Skip I found some Horn info 12 months ago on the NEMGT site. Look under tso_doc on that site - may still be there. Two names mentioned for horn repairs - One or both may sell parts, I don't know, but worth a try:- Lawrie Rhoads, 7 Knollwood Road, Medfield, MA 0252-2703, USA Lynn Isaac, 20 The Glebe,...

TA/TB oilers
Hi all Interesting to read Carl's note about his oiler plates possibly being spot welded to the body . But Jack Stehr's later car had screws - see below. Carl, could it be that there really are wood-screws there, under the paint? Viv James, Jack Stehr and I have exchanged some info on this matter in...

Re: MG Magazine Holiday Special --- Save up to 50% now
Skip I accept your opinion and agree with your point about rare parts. [I was lucky enough to find a TC steering box bracket today - sounds like a small item, but they are nearly impossible to buy here in UK and my current rebuild is missing one, so I know what you are driving at.] I would also make...

Re: MG Magazine Holiday Special --- Save up to 50% now
MG Magazine may be an admirable publication, but the T-ABC list is not the place to advertise it, or any other commercial activity.
