Worth checking that the fan is on the right way round, sucking air in rather than trying to push it out through the front.

Re: Low fuel warning lamp

I had the same problem. I bought a small sheet of clear 1mm thick acetate sheet and cut a circle out the same size as the Fuel insert. Then I printed in 24 font Cambri the word FUEL on a printable sheet of clear computer acetate with a circle of dark green behind. Thus the word FUEL shows up in clea...

Re: Restoration website TC 7677

That is an impressive list of work. I am partway through the restoration of TC7142 which will need much the same work so this is a useful pointer of what I have to plan for

TC Flywheel Weight

Front Road Spring Clips

Does anyone have any tips for removal of the clips holding the front road spring leaves together and then replacing securely following a rebuild?

TC7142

Does anyone have any information on TC7142. I have exchanged emails with Dan Dickinson who owned the car in the 1950s and he was a founding member of the Long Beach MG club in California. I don't know how it got to the USA (it is not an export model) or any owners other than Dan. Apparently it has b...
