Re: Tip of the Day
Steve & All, I had both front brakes that would not take the drum. The only thing I did was to bleed small amount off front right. Both front drums went on as expected, adjusted fine and work properly with brake pedal. I understand when the pedal is released the pressure is supposed to be releas...

Tip of the Day
BRAKE TECH TIP OF THE DAY Problem: While installing new brake shoes you find you cannot get the brake drum on. Cause: This is a common problem. Is it because the pads are too thick, adjust cams have not been turned back, shoes installed incorrectly, or what else? Ever have to sand the new shoe to ge...

TC Performance Items
There are a number of items that can dramatically improve the performance and comfort of driving of your TC. 1. DISTRIBUTOR: Today's fuels degrade the performance of your car. The corrective action is to install a distributor that has been setup for idle timing at 10 BTDC vice the original TDC. Thi...

Re: Questions on brake drums masks on my TC.
The disks behind the wheels on the TC is a very very rare aftermarket item referred to as the "BEER TRAY". This is the 3rd time I have seen beer trays on a TC in the past 2 months. Other sightings were a Rhode Island Car and California car. Yes it was a period item of the 50's & 60's and almost forg...

Re: Wheel paint color?
I have researched this and have selected a High Performance Paint that I now offer in my catalog: formulated for wheels and is the best match for TC wheels that I have found. My part number is WH128, $17.95 per can. 1 can does 2 wheels.

Hi Hugh,
The medallion is the standard Lucas Medallion, @ 5/8" diameter. Don't have 1 on hand but can get if you do not find one. Doug Pelton, FTFU

Re: Here at last
Mark,
I have TC 7670 and just looked at the numbers.
First: the zero is undersized exactly to the same proportion as yours.
Second: the 6 on my car is the same exact as your 9 except upside down.
Conclusion: Looks like 3409 to me.
Cheers'
