TC rear seal mod

Post by Dave Richmond » Tue Apr 08, 2014 12:01 pm

Many thanks guys the flywheel problem is now solved. But I now have found that the engine has been fitted with a mod to the rear oil seal . I am aware that this is an improvment over the old scroll system but I am not unable to see what is holding this mod in place. It appears to be slit into 2 halves but I fail to see what holds the two parts together or what infact holds the thing in place.Any help much appreciated.

I can't say what is holding it together, but the Moss version of that modification works by bolting the upper half into the block, and then bolting the lower half to the upper half.
