MG-TC 7122 from 1948 electronic CSI-Ignition distributer

Post by Bernhard REITHOFER » Fri Aug 15, 2014 2:10 am

I have since 1978 my TC with engine XPAG tuned as in stage 2 with larger valves,Laystall cyl head,
compr.ratio 9.3:1 ,rear axle 4,875:1.I read abouthe CSI Ignitio distributer offered by Moss.
I would like to know if this type of distributer could be useful an bring a much better performance?
What could be the improvements?

I haven't seen the Moss advertisement (Moss Europe?) but just watched a video on the CSI site. Interesting. I would imagine like anything that does away with points you'd have steadier fire to your plugs and with the different setups you could tune the distributor to take full advantage of your engine.
