Hi Everyone
I am reconditioning my xpag engine and I read with interest the rear main oil seal modification, written by Andy Bradley and listed in the Special Files on the T-ABCs web site.
As I have not previously heard of this particular conversion, I would be interested in some feedback from others who have used it, before I commit to the modification.
Cheers

Re: XPAG rear seal modification
Ian,
I tried this conversion a few weeks ago and it seems to be fine although I have not had much chance to use the car . The summer will be the big test . We currently have about a foot of snow outside the workshop door so ask me again in May!.
Good luck and a Happy New MG Year.
PS With all these modifications my theory is simple ...If I don't like it you can always revert back to the original ...If that is not feasible I don't bother
Regards Geoff

Re: TC rear oil seal
Give Bob a call and he will help you with the details and the price for the kit. There is also a lip seal conversion for the front seal on the crankshaft
