History of TC 2399

Post by Jetten » Wed Jan 19, 2000 6:12 am

I wonder if I can find out a lttle more about the history of my car. I bought TC2399 (XPAG3089)in October 1995 from a trader, after it been imported into Switzerland from the USA.

The last registration number of the car is 878DCT, state of Washington. The last owner is Peter P. Hageman,1545 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland , Washington.

I wrote Peter Hageman a letter some years ago but didn't get a reply. The car also carried a badge of the New England T Register. The car was in fair condition, ivory paint and green interior. I completed a full restoration last year, and the car is in excellent condition now (black paint and green interior).

If anybody has any details about the history of the car, or knows previous owners then I would be pleased to hear about that.

best regards,

Wim,

Just did a search on the internet using that name and came up with the following:

http://sportscarmarket.com/resource.htm

This lists him as:

Peter Hageman, Vintage Automobiles, 206/954-1961, fax 425/287-0660, P.O. Box 554, Kirkland, WA. Prewar European autos, Bentley and Rolls-Royce, specializing in vintage Bentleys.

Maybe he just doesn't want to be associated with anything as plebian as an MG.

Smile,
Gene
