Anybody got any tips for the pain-free removal of the sump on the MPJG engine please.
It all looks very simple apart from the bolts going in from the top by the starter motor......does the starter have to be removed (which entails taking out the steering column) or is there an easier way. Help please !
Paul.

Paul,
Removal of the sump on the MPJG is exactly the same as on an XPAG. I'm pretty sure you'll have to remove the starter motor to get to all the bolts...try removing it and wiggling it around...maybe you can get it out far enough to to gain access without removing the steering column.

Thanks Gene and apologies for lateness in responding.
Much as I thought, thank you for confirming.
Kind regards,
Paul.
