coach trimmer
I have decided not to buy a Moss kit so I am going to need an experienced trimmer to re cover my TC seats and door cards.. Is there someone who can be recommended in the East Midlands area please?

If Bradford isn't too far, try

I bought my new hood and side screens from Pickerings. They will fit a Moss kit. for you but if you want bespoke they need the car there.. Weybridge is too far. Our local Derby trimmer, Stan Chilton has passed away and his son is not doing old car trimming. I am looking for a recommended trimmer.

Re: coach trimmer
I suggest you give Pickering a call. They did all my TC interior and weather gear in 2012, and all made to measure.

Re: coach trimmer
I did have a long chat with the man in charge (can't recall his name now) but he needs the car there and I have still not received the body let alone had it running. I am trying to get some leather to match the door cards. The alternative is to have the door cards re trimmed in the same material.
The idea is to have everything ready for when - eventually - the body tub arrives.

I too decided against a Moss kit and went instead for a kit from Newton Commercial - via NTG Services since Newton only supply the trade with 'T' series kits. This was mainly because I wanted a custom colour and Newton were happy to oblige. It was a very good quality set and quite easy to fit.
(The colour in both pics is cream - different lighting, different shade).

There were actually two completely different shades of green for a TC. The different green only was available very late in production. I am talking about leather seat color. Moss only makes the kits in the one color of green.

Duncan, I would be interested in seeing photo documentation of this second green. I have never seen a green different than the standard Apple Green used in TA through late TD, or MMM cars. This color started in 1931, as did Regency Red.
Looking forward to seeing photos.
