Shorrock super charger

I just acquired a 49 T.C. fitted with a Shorrock super charger. The belts seem to be rubbing the fan spin housing causing uneven bearing wear in the water pump. Anyone with similar issue ? Also , Is cross bar in front of crank shaft pully welded to frame ? Thanks for any help. TCRemesal

I don't have a Shorrock on my TC so not able to help you there but if you google MG TC Shorrock you'll find a number of cars with them...maybe some of the photos will be of help?
