Hi All,
I wondered if anyone could help me please? I’m looking for an O/S rear Girling PR6 damper, or is there a conversion kit to replace these?
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

Re: TC Rear Girling PR6 Damper
Hi Paul, the actual dampers are all the same across the TC. However the rear arms are kinked greater on each of the rears along with the connecting arms too. So they can be re-used if the right arms can be obtained seperatley. I have searched myself for these with differculty (vintage and classic shock absorbers have helped me before)... so I came to the conclusion to try to find/buy complete ones for each corner.
Yes, there are conversions but most seem to be using teloscopic pistons. Fitted to the front just doesnt look right but if they are for the rear then why not if you can get them cheap enough.

I was curious what the PR6 stood for. A quick search found this TT2 article. ( grateful acknowledgement) https://ttypes.org/the-luvax-girling-damper/
Apparently PR is "pressure recuperation"... but what the 6 is for I don't know.
