Hello, I picked up a few front wheel slave cylinders the other day to recondition
for my TC but one is different in that it has a larger pipe thread 1/2”unf instead of
the 7/16 unf thread as TC is this a TA cylinder I notice that adaptors can be bought
do these make it useable for a TC all other dimensions seem the same spot face is larger on the large thread. The image on the right has the larger thread

Re: FRONT WHEEL CYLINDER TA TC
Hello John,
Your photo looks a lot like those on my TA. I haven’t a spare to check thread size however. TAs use an adapter between the cylinder and the hose but I believe the cylinder end of the hose for TA is larger than the TC hose end.
Still, an adapter for the TA wheel cylinder may be available for use with TC hoses.
Regards,
Bill

Re: FRONT WHEEL CYLINDER TA TC
As it happens, I took some pix of my TA wheel cylinders when I rebuilt the whole system.
I did not make a note of the thread size however.
Here is a front and rear together.
