Toolbox and side screen felt

Hi all. Does anyone know of a supplier of felt in the UK suitable for the toolbox and side screen storage box on a TC? It looks like it was wool based but has anyone used acrylic (I can't find any online that look like the correct finish). I know that Moss etc has a version but it look expensive for what it is. Hi Roger. Thanks for your suggestion. I have had a look at Woolies and they do have some felt listed but it seems to have a PVC coating so not sure it would be suitable.

Both NTG and Brown & Gammons supply the felt. I don't know what Moss charge but it's probably around the same.

Personally, I think the idea of lining the toolbox with white felt is a bit silly.

Tim, l bought mine to do exactly the same jobs from www.britishfelt.com. Industrial wool felt to what I believe was the original spec. The white version isn’t dyed white, but rather the natural wool colour. I used 3mm for the toolbox and it looks ‘right’.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I tried Britishfelt but the minimum order size was a bit prohibative. I found a company in Newark (UK) and have got some from them. It looks pretty good but now have the interesting job of gluing it into position.
