Want to swap out all of the engine mount to frame bolts on one side of my TC. There is a surplus "plate" mounted on the inside of the engine mount bracket (that I believe used to support one of those tall, small diameter tube overflow coolant tanks) so I need to remove all 4 bolts at the same time.
Where is the best place to support the motor with a floor jack?

I would use a 2x4 on top of the jack saddle, and place it under the sump. Or if you have a hoist you could use a cargo strap around the front plate and lift it up.

Thanks! The 2 x 4 is what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure I would not harm the sump.
