Abingdon UK have been able to supply replacement cables which look fine. The flexible outersheath now has a plastic cover which makes it somewhat more rigid. It is also a little too long which makes it quite a fight to snug up into the guide on the back plate, not only that but the compression spring which fits between the guide plate and the expander is also a bit too long which means that it is fully compressed before the handbrake is operated, in this situation the spring will be coil bound and ineffective when it is compressed further operating the handbrake
I don’t think I have much option other than carefully marking and removing the excess flexible metal outer covering with a metal cutting disc in the DREMEL and ditto a few coils off the spring
Have any of you gentlemen come across this situation. Thank you
After market TC brake cables
Re: After market TC brake cables
Bought mine from the Octagon Club. Both correct. Perhaps explore that avenue and return those from Abingdon.

Thank you I may try that , at the last time of asking Octagon didn’t have any, I will check again
