XPAG engine number

Hi,
I have an XPAG engine with the number 799
Can anybody help me where this engine could have belonged to ??
My 1946 TC had original number 1186, so it must be be prewar-TB ????

Dirk - XPAG799 was originally fitted to TB0513. On the odd chance you have XPAG/TD/799, that engine was fitted to TD557.

I'm happy to help establishing the connection between any engine number and a car.
