TA/TB lubrication system parts
TA/TB lubrication system parts
Hi,
I am looking for parts for the lubrication system for my TB.
I already have the details for the trunnions, but I need the rest:
- Brass plates in the engine compartment.
- Brackets to fasten platest to bulkhead.
- Nipples in engine compartment.
- Pipes and fittings.
- Nippels for handbrake cable.
- Nipples for connection with trunnions (90 degree).
Any idea where I can get these? (can also be used parts).
I have tried Barry Walker and SportAndVintage + the regular shops.
(yes - I have read the article in 'Resources' on MG TABC so I know that I can manufacture the pipes and nipples myself if no one can provide complete sets).

For the 90 degree elbow, contact Peter Ratcliffe at SVW spares. He might also have other rare lubrication fittings.
his e-mail is svwspares@aol.com

Re: TA/TB lubrication system parts
Does anyone know the correct pipe routing out to the fitting on the rear trunion? I’ve seen it run along the top and bend down, or along the back and bend forward, but would like to know what the correct way should be.

Sorry - I don't know the correct way to do this - and I have not checked with 'Original MG T-Types' book, but I found this picture online - could be correct and could be wrong...

Tor - I believe I have a spare TA bulkhead from a junked car, hanging on the wall; do you want me to look at it and see what parts, if any, are still on it?

Sorry for not replying earlier!
Yes - if you can have a look - especially hard to find are the brass-plates and the brackets for them. The rest I am probably able to manufacture or source.
