Dear all
I have the Mick Pay spin on oil filter conversion on my TA. Unfortunately I can’t find my note of what filter is suitable! Can anyone help with type and a source (UK) ?
Thanks

Re: MPJG Spin on oil filters
Hello Jon,
If I’m not mistaken Mick Pay’s Filter Conversion (for both early and late TA) uses the Austin/Morris Metro head. This would be the older style Metro and not the Rover Metro which has a different engine.
Does the marking on your housing read 12A2023? If so I also use this same spin-on filter head on my TA. The filter I use is a Purolator Classic L10241; Dimensions are Height: 3.36” Diameter: 2.98” Displacement: 23.43 cubic inches; 3/4-16 thread. Something comparable with these dimensions should work.
Hope this helps.
