TC front apron webbing

Post by Warmuthb » Tue Apr 21, 2020 1:54 pm

Is the webbing a different diameter for the front apron vs for the body tub?
I have reason to belive it is smaller diameter, such as the TD.
Thanks,
Brian

I think it is smaller. There is no reason to believe that they changed that feature. Perhaps someone with an unmolested TC can verify.

Looks to me like the standard sized piping up front on a TC.

Original was 1/4” cord for apron, 5/16” for wings and tub edge.

Well, some difference. Tom and Mark; I too agree that it makes sense as it definetely was carried over to the TD. Also looks better to me!

My info came from Specification 259, the list of all parts compiling a TC. Created by Morris Motors; there was one for each vehicle model.
