thought I'd introduce myself. I recently purchased the below TA and am awaiting it's delivery sometime this week. I've never owned a MG before (I'm mostly a Model T ford guy) so I'm going to have a steep learning curve in the coming months. The car's restoration was supposedly completed in 2017, so hopefully there won't be any issues for awhile. I've always admired these cars (mostly TD's) and it took selling 3 model "t"'s to swing the deal.
Here's the car:

Hi Rod, welcome to the wonderful world of early MGs! I'm also a Model T owner, with a '25 Roadster Pickup. The TA will be a very different animal for sure. Looks like you bought a gorgeous example, too. The lighter shade of red looks a lot like my TC.

Hi Steve,
I think we may have conversed online before. Back in 2006 I was thinking about installing a single post lift and talked to someone in So Cal about it. looking at your website, the garage photo with all the MG's in it looks awfully familiar. I ended up with a "Bend-Pac" single post. I also used to host a garage website called "garage addiction", I took it down some years ago (too time consuming).

Of interest to me, is the coincidence related to our collecting cars, T series MG's as well as T series Fords.

Rod

Welcome Rob. At least your history as a car "nut" means your family and friends will be use to your idiosyncrasy. It`s like a drug!!! Enjoy especially the new friends you`ll meet.
