Wing Piping Color on Sequoia Cream and Clipper Blue

Post by Tom Wilson » Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:34 am

On Sequoia Cream and Clipper Blue TCs – what color was the piping on the wing and front splash apron areas?
Typically I believe this was body color on red, green, and black cars, but never paid attention to the other two colors.

To the best of my knowledge, piping is always matched to body color. Sometimes there is confusion about this as well as grill slat color when the body and trim are the same color, so people think the piping and grill were matched to the trim, when in fact they are matched to the body color.

Hello Tom and all listers,

I have just received the new Moss T-Type catalog.
On the cover, there is a TC beautiful photo on the Abingdon assembly line.
This TC is in Sequoia Cream color and we can see that piping is also cream.
The radiator grill slat and trim are in the same green color (it seems to me).
No certain answer for Clipper Blue color.

Best Regards,
