TC8204: Who knows a source for this large, textile.woven oil filter?

Hello!

Checking this forum for the oil filter which is present in our TC, I came across some hits concerning "RYCO" oil filter.

I have included pictures of the oil filter housing and the actual filter cartridge. I woul like to keep this setup, because it looks good, is what one needs (easy replacing of cartiridge) and it is engineered quite well. So, first some pictures:

If needed I can give the various sizes.

Who knows the source of this filter cartridge (plus brand, type etc.) ?

Or, alternatively, which oil filter cartridge fits or could be made to fit?

It looks like Moss has a similar filter and write ups for the split type cannister filters, check their web site. Doug Pelton may have these also so check the Frame Up on line catalog.

It looks like the canister Moss used to sell. If so, the replacement cartridge went unavailable years ago everywhere except for Moss, and it isn't cheap. If you drive the car a lot then it would be cheaper in the long run to buy a spin-on adapter.

Thanks, checked Doug Pelton already (negative) but will check with MOSS (UK). And, if no sources, I better take the spin-on conversion.
