Headlamp fixing woe
Posted: Wed Jul 03, 2013 8:55 am
I hope the combined knowledge of the group can help me..
I've just got the TC rewiring finished [many thanks to several on this list and some external help]
So nice to know she will not burst into flames in an old loom melt down..
My problem is the r/h front headlamp fixing.
All that was holding it on was rust and road dirt.
Like a fool I cleaned it and now the nut does not hold.
The only off the shelf solution seems to be the replacement of the whole headlamp which is mad and rather expensive.
Does anyone know of a way to replace this when I don't have any machining capability?
Many thanks &
Best regards
