John James as previously mentioned in an email to the group - but here's some additional info:

The best arrangement would have been for the supplier to send the hose direct to you. This is because you wouldn’t have to pay the 20% VAT (Value Added Tax), However, when I contacted the supplier she told me that her bank won’t allow her to send her products to North America because of potential litigation issues and she can’t get insurance to cover her.

Therefore I have to buy them from her and get charged the VAT which I have to pass on to you as I am not a trader (just an enthusiastic amateur!).

    Costs would be as follows:

    Top hose £23.50
    Clips (if needed) £5.50
    Postage £5.50

    TOTAL 34.50

I’d have to ask for an additional £1.50 for my PayPal charges otherwise I would actually be losing money!

I can quite understand if you decide not to proceed.

    Best Regards,

    JOHN

PS The clips have bevelled edges which don’t ‘dig in’ to the silicone hose.
