Replacing TC steering box with Datsun

Okay, my steering box is badly worn (again) and I'm finding reluctance by machine shops to skim the drop sharft and rebush the housing. What model Datsun steering boxes have owners of TCs been using to replace the old Bishop steering box?

They've pretty much stopped using the Datsun box (old, used, not rebuilt) and have switched to the VW box instead.
