I purchased TC 7677 yesterday and hauled it home. This will be my forth TC restoration in 5 years does anyone have any history of this car, anything would be appreciated. I can't believe the condition no rust and no rotten wood. The engine was frozen a little Marvel oil and it's free. I hope the rest of the engine is OK, no ridge in the cylinders, the rocker arms aren't worn. Pulling the engine in the next few days to check the crank. Crossing my fingers.

You are in luck Norman, its an ex-Aussie car.
TC7677 XPAG8471 was imported new by Motors Ltd who were the importers for the state of South Australia and located in Adelaide. Their records reveal that the car was sold new to G. Keen on the 11th of August 1949.
No other information sorry.
Around 1700 TC's were sold new in Australia.

Cheers,
Matthew.

hanks very much now I know why there is no rust or wood. The other mystery was why it didn't have bumpers or horns under the bonnet and had a imported from England plaque. Thanks a lot.
