MG T-ABC

I'll be securing the new floor boards after I get the TC on it's new tires and off my lift. A little welding including fabricating brackets from the frame to the muffler. I'm wondering what the best way to locate the seat frames on the floor boards might be, I have some idea but would like yours. Also should I bolt through the floor or get some T nuts for the wood?

As the seats slide, the position of the runners isn't critical. Here's a photo of mine, secured to the floor boards with wood screws.

Hi I have set in Tee nuts which are obviously much stronger that the original wood screws used. The advantage is that you can remove the seat sliders to fit carpets or for maintenance as many times as you like without fear of them pulling out like the wood screws and also you can fit and remove them from the top without trying to stop the nuts under the floor from turning!

Agree with the t-nuts.

Just measured position of my hinges which were marked out from an original floorboard. The edge of the hinge is
2 3/4 inches in from the transmission tunnel and the front edge of the hinge is 21 inches from the front or 27 3/4 inches from the back of the floor board. The seat sliders are obviously parallel to the transmission tunnel. Hope this info is useful.
