models

here an info from our "lazybear" (forwarded without attachment), walter:

Hi, all... At the risk of clogging up all your disk drives, I thought I'd send these pictures along, reduced in file size as much as I know how. I came across some delightful TC plastic miniature cars, 1-1/2" long from apron to readably lettered rear license plate! The wheels, shell, headlights, etc. are vacuum chrome plated as is the windshield frame. Instruments are molded onto the dashboard, and it has a four-spoke steering wheel.

The models are BUSCH (German made), and imported by Wm.K. Walthers Co., a model railroad distributor. I saw them in a catalog and ordered two, so that I can repaint one red and the other green as are my '46 and '49 cars. Best of all, they were under ten bucks each. I thought that some of you might want one (maybe to imbed in casting resin for a key ring?).

I ordered mine from Caboose Hobbies, 500 S. Broadway, Denver, CO 80209-4002, or www.caboosehobbies.com where they have a catalog ordering system. Phone is (303) 777-6766. The item is called Busch 45907 MG Midget TC Cabrio on the little styrene display case that comes with it. No, I don't own stock!
