Just curious if Roger Furneaux does indeed have 4.6/1 crown and pinions made up to fit the TC per remark by TATERRY.
Some time back there was alot of discussion on putting in other units and adapting them to fit the TC. If Roger has them, do they bolt right in and what is the cost of such a set? Does Rogers business, Mad Metrics, have other ratios available as well?

To David Edgar and others
Yes, Rogers 4.6s fit straight in. they are built using TA/C Diff carriers. He also has the standard TA 4.89 AND TC 5.125.

Yes, Roger has 4.625 ( 8/37 ) gear ratios and they are direct replacement for the TC gears in the TC carrier.
I have installed one set with no trouble but have yet to run the car. I think the 1999 cost was 275.00 GBP plus shipping.

The ideal solution is to use the 4.625:1 crown wheel and pinion available from Roger Furneaux. No modifications required simply replace the 5.125 (41 to
CW&P with the 4.625 ( 37 to 8 ) CW&P. I now have 8500 miles ( from May 1998 ) on TC9507, which was fitted with Rogers' CW&P during the rebuild.
TC 9507 has completed a full year of club and open competition in sprints, motorkanas, hill climbs and circuit events using 185/70 15 tyres and this diff has been ideal.
When fitted with the original 4.50-19 tyres the 4.625 ratio is ideal on the highway.
Roger Furneaux can supply all diff parts including bearings, seals, nuts etc.
The service and information from Roger was excellent.
