supercharging & doors TC

Thought I would squash it all into one post!

Doors my drivers door hinge bolts are not original and are hopeless but I cannot find any thing on this little bit of detail. Are there "proper hinge bolts with maybe some sort of bushing and how to adjust the doors up & down?

Supercharging

Anyone one have any experience of doing this to a good engine with decent oil/ cylinder pressures, is it worth the cost in improved performance?

What other things should I look for/ think about like brake improvements etc

Any thoughts very gratefully received.

I live in London so any one near ['isn] would be handy to ono

Many thanks

Moss sells a hardware set for the doors. There's a slotted bolt, a round brass ball that fits between the two hinge pieces, a tabbed washer that rides up the slot and a nut.

Is supercharging worth the expense? Yes, have one on both of my TCs and wouldn't be without them. Good for go and good for the wow factor.

Brakes are pretty much what you've got unless you buy the Alfin brake drums from Roger Fruneaux or Bob Grunau.

All I can say is that I have a tough time keeping up with Supercharged TCs in the mountains. I have a purpose-built supercharged engine in my MGB and the difference in torque is staggering.
