19" Wheels

Been having a bit of a Summer Clean Up around the shed and to my surprise I've found five quite usable 19" wheels which frankly I had no idea I had. They are wearing tyres which have tread but you'd never use them as they'd be lethal. The wheels look shabby having been in gathering dust for X years but they appear sound. My TC runs 16" wheels and have never driven one with 19" and am wondering what to do with them. Kind of tempted to clean them up and get tyres for them but common sense says sell them. Anyone out there (in Aus/NZ) have any idea what they're worth?

I'm sure we are all well aware of that common phenomenon: When you are looking for something, such as an old car part, it is "very rare", made of unobtanium, and extremely expensive. On the other hand, when we are trying to sell that very same part, is a "dime-a-dozen", and good luck getting rid of it!
Part of the reason I have a garage full of TC parts.

Rick while your parts are still a dime a dozen, I'd like to offer you twelve dimes for the whole lot.
Murray, I suspect they are worth the same over there as they are over here but hard to make a guess at value without seeing them up close. If in good order, good splines, straight, no more than a little surface rust, etc, they must be worth $75-100 USD a piece. If they have more than a little surface rust or if they need any spokes replaced then the value drops sharply. New spokes and nipples will run nearly $100 per wheel, plus labor and paint.

Hey! I've also got three 19 inch TC wire wheels sitting surplus in the garage. They look good, have all spokes, and reasonable splines. I tried to give them away to another local TC owner, and he brought them back after he decided to buy 5 new wheels, with new mounted and balanced Dunlop B5s with new tubes, all for $2500 delivered to Vancouver.
And no, I am not now planning on giving them away! Perhaps Murray and I could get into the used wheel business?
