I have been the guardian of TC 5108 since November 1967 when I purchased it for $900. Previous owners were Charles Engberg (Aug, 23, 1957 - Nov 1, 1967) who used it as a daily driver in college and then raced it. It was used in a Richfield ad with Charles driving. Charles bought it from Ralph Bauman for the sum of $1100 in 1957. Both Bauman and Engberg were from the San Diego, CA area. No previous history known. While in my care I drove it until it kept falling apart more than usual. An engine rebuilding class started the restoration in 1973 where I performed a re-sleeve, bore and valve work in class. Rest of the frame up restoration went on in my home garage and backyard and was completed enough to present at the 1979 GoF in San Diego. The TC is a driver and has transported us (wife plus two girls) on a few long distance trips for Conclaves and GoF West events.

Very nice. Particularly appreciated being able to view what appears to be a very original underbonnet department. More photos?

And it's a driver, too! David's car has won the TC Motoring Guild's "Use it or lose it" award numerous times.
