Cool Rides of the Year 2012 - Shamelessly Begging for Votes

As some of you may remember our MGTC was entered in the Cool Rides competition last February and, thanks to your help by voting, we won.

All of the 2012 Cars of the Month are now competing for the Cool Ride of the Year honor and I'd appreciate your votes again. I know it's a pain but if you could go to http://coolridesonline.net/news-blog/fe ... year-poll/ every day and vote for our MGTC (blue and silver) Ann and I would really appreciate it.

You're only allowed to vote once a day but if you have multiple computers you can vote once a day from each of them (not that I'd encourage you to bend the rules in any way, of course).

Thanks for your help,

Ann and Gene Gillam

(Moderator - if this is off-topic (and probably is) please move or delete. Tks, Gene)

They've corrected the voting on the Cool Rides site and our TC still has a chance to place in the top three. Voting will end on the 17th of February and you're allowed to vote once a day. One thing they've added is one of those "Capcha" blocks where you have to type in what ever shows in the block after you vote to prove you're not a "Bot" voter. It doesn't matter where you're voting from (States, Europe), all legal votes will count. It's a little more involved (a few seconds more) but keeps honest people honest. Please go to http://coolridesonline.net/news-blog/fe ... year-poll/ and vote for the TC (or my wife).

Wow, they must have looked at the IP logs and seen someone proxy bidding. If it's really an automated "bot" then the captcha won't stop them. But hopefully it was just an over-enthusiastic owner with a proxy browser clicking away for hours on end. I don't think he'll be so bold now that they're onto him.

I've been voting every day. Good luck!
