TC Hardware List

Here is a pretty complete list of all the hardware used by MG in assembling a TC.

This is compiled from Specification 259, the document from Morris Motors that was the 'parts list' for manufacturing.

The list does not include hardware for preassembled sections that were delivered to MG complete - engine, gearbox, rear axle, etc.

I have not formatted the Excel file for printing; that's up to the user to do. This is a good reference for anyone doing a restoration.

Hi Tom - thanks for this very useful list. I may have missed it but can you confirm the correct screws for the map reading lights and for securing the horn push switch on a TC dashboard? Mine seems to have secured with whatever was at hand by a previous owner.
Cheers. Tim.

Map light is one wood screw and one machine screw 4 BA I think.
Horn button I think is 4 BA as well.
Working from memory here - I’m sure someone can confirm or correct.

Found it under 'Spec 259 chassis' lines 102 and 103 on Tom's excellent spreadsheet. 1/2 inch round head woodscrew and 5BA slotted round head machine screw. Great reference guide.
