checking comp ratio

Post by tone » Mon Nov 30, 2020 12:04 pm

any ideas how I can check the compression ratio of an engine please?
was thinking of upping the supercharger fully to give a bit of a boost in power, bottom end is all good had head sorted a while ago to unleaded so think it should be ok, but would be useful to have a starting point to measure

thanks

If you know the bore diameter, the piston type (flat-top or domed), and recorded the head thickness when you did that work, you can get a pretty close approximation.
