TC Trev, are you sure it's the cable?

I notice you're in Yorkshire. We're in Royston, near Barnsley maybe we can meet up. There's a TA up at Castleford as well.

If you want me to take a look I have a fully equipped workshop and was apprenticed when TC were fairly new and was taught on them (at University Motors) I'll send you the address.

Doug Pelton at From the Frame Up in the US sells proper TC slow-running parts, and is a great source of information. He has also made a video, available on-line, describing the correct installation of the slow running control.

Tom, It's OK Trevor's been in touch and we've met before at a car meeting. He's bring the car round to me and I'll sort it for him.

Actually mine doesn't work, it needs a better clip for the outer cable which moves instead of the inner. I don't really use it as I get the car started and drive off and it's warmed up in half a mile.
