Fuel Tanks

Post by jddevel » Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:58 am

Although bothe mild steel and stainless steel tanks are available there are no aluminium ones made. I understand problems may occur with the proximity of copper fuel pipes but are there other issues I`m not aware of. Advice please.

I don't know why no one makes them, but I would guess it has to do with the fragility of aluminum. Since the tank is exposed, it could be punctured or damaged more easily than a steel one.
