tc bellhousing Id
Can someone tell me how to tell a TC bellhousing from a TD bell housing. are there casting #'s on them
Re: tc bellhousing Id
Hi Rick. You can always tell a TC bell housing as it will have a large chunk missing where the clutch rod exits.

I don't recall the exact differences, but if the clutch lever is on the left then it's definitely not TC.

Early 7-1/4" TC bell housing is same as TC EXCEPT for the spigot that locates the B/H to the gearbox case is smaller in diameter. The spigot is smaller on the TD to match the smaller TD Inch size ball bearing. The first motion shaft opening is also smaller. Morris 10 B/H is same as early TD. Bob Grunau
