ORIGINAL TA VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER

Post by TAMCARTHUR » Fri Apr 16, 2021 6:58 am

I'm in the process of putting a '38 TA back together. Eventually, I'll contact Frampton's and have them make a pair of number plates. I was planning to use TA/#### (frame number). But it would be really cool if I could reproduce the car's original plate number. I have the TA's factory data plate, but no information about the original owner.

Is there a source for getting the original registration plate number from the car's frame/engine number(s)?

I am collating a list of MG Octagon Car Club member's cars,

Would you let me know your TA chassis number and I will see if it matches any old records I have.

Regards

As long as you're looking, I would be glad to know if there is any information about my TA1271.

Whilst I am a member of the Octagon Club, I would recommend the MG Car Club and the T register, link below, they have helped me re the registrations of my TC and PB
