Price list
Thought members would like to see part of a price list I unearthed recently from Tomlins - a company I had dealings with in the 60s. Read it and wish "if only now"

Re: Price list
I can';t enlarge it right now, but do you perhaps mean Toulmin's? I don''t remember a Tomlins back in the day.

You're right. When enlarged the list is headed Toulmins. I was recently sorting out receipts for the cost of my restoration - finished last year - and came across this from Toulmins...
The engine is still the same standard, bar the addition of a lead free conversion from Peter Edney (that cost considerably more than the original rebuild) and has still only done 91 miles since the rebuild. It goes very well though.....
I had my engine rebuilt by North Wilts Engineering in 1975 (an early stage of the restoration!). The motor had already been rebored to max. and North Wilts sleeved it back to standard. They asked me to source the liners and this I did from Toulmins. The engine is still the same standard, bar the addition of a lead free conversion from Peter Edney (that cost considerably more than the original rebuild) and has still only done 91 miles since the rebuild. It goes very well though.....
