Rear Brake Plate Hardware

Would anyone happen to know the thickness of the bolt heads that attach the rear brake plates to the axle? I seem to recall they are thinner than standard, to avoid fouling the bearing carrier. All of mine are on cars at the moment so I'm hoping to avoid disassembling one.

I measure them at 5/32".
Kind of an odd thing to do. As a mechanical design engineer I would have found a better way.

Thanks, that saves me some work! The thin heads aren't really an issue, as there is virtually no lateral load on the plates. If there was any stress, it would be rotational which would put it all on the shank of the bolt, not the head.

Beauty of simplicity.
