What is the general thought on the routing of the copper line from the oil gauge to the bulkhead?
Thanks

Not so much the routing but I have heard the flexible section can give trouble.

the flexi-pipe can be easily fitted incorrectly by putting the wrong sequence of fibre and copper washers on the block. I'd have to check before being 100% to what it is.
From the 2-way brass connector through to the gauge can be supported by a number of ways; the key thing I beleive to ensure it is support and not left to dangle. Another alternative is to coil the thin pipe just prior to the gauge, this way any movement is not putting stress on the rear of the gauge nor the mounting brackets.

Original line went pretty much straight back from the oil gauge for about 5-6 inches, then 3 loops that are about 1.5 inches dia. From there it just goes down to the small grommeted hole on the passenger side.
