Hood, frame and windscreen.

Advice needed please. I will shortly be attempting the fitting of the windscreen and hood frame plus obviously the hood. This is all to a new tub on a TC. So far I`ve gleaned that it is advised to have the side screens insitu to help. However I`m puzzling how to ensure that the windscreen sides and the hood frame fixing "holes" are in the correct place to ensure the hood fits correctly. I do not want either locations to end up like a "pin cushion". How have others gone about it?
