MG T-ABC

Although my TC has been re-bodied I've retained the original body number plate.
I want to reattach it but cannot remember where it goes exactly. I believe it's inside on the left and screwed to part of the bulkhead woodwork but can anyone confirm the exact position?

On my '49 TC it was tacked across the two front vertical timbers that form part of the scuttle. Just to be clear, the outside of the front timber is painted body colour and has the metal bulkhead bolted to it. The plate is mounted sideways starting 8" down from the top of the vertical timber.
