Found Number Plate for MGTC 5132

Number plate for MGTC 5132 is pictured.
This recently surfaced from a dismantled TC that was burned in the 1960's in Richmond Virginia area. The remnants of that car were put into a different MGTC at that time (numbers unknown).
Question is what to do?
Have not found where to register with the list of active versus inactive vehicles. So any help there will be appreciated.
Also, need to determine whether this may be used by anyone who is "building" a car but is missing a valid number plate and would like to bring back a formerly active MGTC. .
