TA Fule pump
Is a TC fuel pump an acceptable replacement for a TA fuel pump that quit? My TA is wired positive ground. Will that make a difference? Thanks.

Re: TA Fule pump
I believe that TA through TC all use the AUA25 pump. The only difference I'm aware of is brass versus aluminum base. It's an L-Type pump running at 1.5 PSI. The original points type pumps are not polarity sensitive, but if you get an electronic pump then polarity will matter. TC is positive ground like TA.
If you don't want your old pump and it has a brass base, I would be interested in buying it for parts. Also shop around when buying a new pump. The price difference between suppliers can be shocking! I just bought one recently and saved over $150 by checking numerous retailers.
