Wiring loom protection

Post by SteveW » Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:29 am

Apologies if this appears twice. I thought I posted it but I couldn't see it afterwards:

I bought my TC wiring loom from Autosparks (UK) at a car show a few years ago but it didn't come with the metal conduit that protects the loom in certain places. Does someone have a schedule of the diameters and lengths that I need please. Also, can anyone recommend a UK supplier for a decent price.

You might have a problem. The conduit is installed as the loom is being assembled. I don't know how the conduit can be installed after the fact. There might be a way but I don't know of it. I've had the same problem.

I don't have the lengths, but the conduit can be installed after the fact. As I recall a couple of pieces must be taken apart, the stuff is like a spiral bound notebook and hooks together as it is wound around the loom. It is a bit tricky but can be done as that is how I put it on my loom. Some needle nose pliers are needed to assist the job.
