My Raydot mirror had a bad spot in it where the silver had come off.
It comes apart easy enough, just pry up the 4 nubs holding it together.
So I decided to replace the mirror glass. It is .116" thick.
This involves grinding the oval shape on a bench grinder.
You have to take it slowly or it will suddenly break.
Now comes the reassembly.
After two breakages, on the third try I was successful.
There is a coil spring in there with a cardboard disc that holds the mirror glass up to the outer rim.
I figured out the trick to assembling it is to be sure the oval shape will fit into the back side. It's smaller than the outer rim.
Then you push the glass into the back, compressing the coil spring.
Then push the front rim on until the nubs click in to the holes in the back.
